Judy O’Hara, 61, of Lost Nation, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City,

Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lost Nation. Funeral Mass was Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lost Nation. Burial will take place at a later date at Smithtown Cemetery in Lost Nation.

Judy was born on Aug. 11, 1953, in Iowa City, Iowa, to parents Vernon and Francis (Garlick) Wagner. She was united in marriage on April 26, 1975, to Gregory O’Hara at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lost Nation. She worked for the pharmacy department at Wal-Mart in Maquoketa for the last 16 years. Judy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and bowling leagues. She enjoyed spending time going to garage sales, casinos and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; children, Chad O’Hara of Williamsburg and Stacey O’Hara of Mitchellville; sisters Patricia (Richard) Furchtenicht of West Branch, Jane (Wayne) Frauenholtz and Debra (Scott) Hefner of Cedar Rapids; her brother, Dennis Garlick of Nebraska; grandchildren Bryan, Cody and Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred.
