Author visiting Hoover Elementary

Award-winning author Dori Hillestad Butler is celebrating the release of her new series, "The Haunted Library," with a visit to Hoover Elementary School on Sept. 22 from 8:15 to mid afternoon.
A frequent presenter at schools, Butler writes to inspire children who are not yet readers, whether that is because they are reluctant readers or because they simply have not read a book on their own yet.
“I'm really excited to return to Iowa and share my love for books with West Branch students. I believe everyone has a story to tell,” Butler said.
