Verlo earns another Emmy

For the second year in a row, Mike Verlo received the Emmy award for best news producer and the show he produces won in the category of daytime newscast.
The 2014 Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Gala was held at Target Field in Minneapolis on Sept. 13. Mike works for CBS Minnesota in Minneapolis, where he produces WCCO4 News This Morning.
A 2003 graduate of West Branch High School, Verlo has received five Emmy awards: three for best daytime newscast, and two as best news producer.
He is a son of Arlyn and Paula Verlo of West Branch.
