Flu vaccine Oct. 21
News · October 09, 2014

Cedar County Public Health joins the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in encouraging all residents to get their yearly flu vaccination.

A vaccine clinic is set for 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at West Branch United Methodist Church. Residents who are unable to attend one of these clinics may make an appointment at the office by calling (563) 886-2226. The cost is $25 payable by cash or check.

There is no out-of-pocket expense for those who present their Medicare or Medicaid card. Children under 18 years who are uninsured or who have insurance that does not cover the injection will receive the vaccination at no charge through the Vaccines for Children program. Visit the Cedar County Public Health website at www.cedarcounty.org to print the consent form.
