Band 7th at Wilton contest

West Branch High School's marching band traveled to Wilton for the Festival of the Bands on Saturday, finishing seventh in Class 2A.
The band also won awards for outstanding drum major, drumlinem colorguard and drill design, according to director Lisa Schrock.
The band will travel this coming Saturday to the State Marching Band competition at the Brady Street Stadium in Davenport with their performance starting at 11:15 a.m.
