Parks & Rec meets to discuss Nov. 4 vote results
News · November 20, 2014

The Parks & Recreation Commission will meet 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Town Hall to discuss the Nov. 4 election results on improving city parks, as well as other business.

The city advanced two referendums on the parks: A 1-percent Local Option Sales Tax, which voters approved, and a $4 million bond referendum, which needed a 60-percent supermajority but fell short by about 3 percent.

The park commission will discuss how to proceed with the mixed results.
