Bastens celebrate 50 years

Aaron and Loretta Basten of rural Solon will celebrate their 50th — golden — wedding anniversary with an open house Sunday, July 12, beginning at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church Hall, 1749 Racine Ave. NE, Solon, Iowa.
Hosting the event will be their children and grandchildren: Mark, Sharon, Emily and Collin Basten of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Tom, Sue, Kyle and Reid Basten of Washington, and Mike and Angelica Basten of Salt Lake City, Utah.
No invitations will be sent, but all friends and relatives are invited to attend. Your presence is their gift.
