L. James Park, 93, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty.
Visitation was before service time at the funeral home.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty.

Lyle James Park was born Sept. 6, 1922, near West Liberty the son of Clyde F. and Viola Mills Park. He farmed the family farm his entire life. He enjoyed hunting small game, fishing, playing shuffleboard, horseshoes and pool.
Survivors include one brother, Floyd Park of Muscatine; nephew David Park of Muscatine; niece Penny (Albert) Polina of Davenport; great-niece Alisa (Tim) Phillips of Muscatine; and great-nephews Nate Park of Muscatine, Tony Polina of Muscatine and Joe Polina of Coralville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gladys Kemp.
