Wright earns DeKalb award

Emma Wright, a daughter of Chad and Kris Wright, on May 3 was awarded the 2016 DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award.
Wright is a West Branch High School student and was recognized by the Monstanto Company for her significant experiences and accomplishments, like earning an FFA State Degree, taking sixth place at the FFA’s State biotechnology team contest, membership in the National Honor Society and being named one of Kirkwood Community College’s Leaders for Tomorrow.
She is a student of agricultural instructor Renee Thompson.
