Highway 6 movie gets Emmy nomination

The award-winning documentary “River to River: Iowa’s Forgotten Highway 6,” produced by Kelly and Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films, has received a Mid-America Emmy nomination.


A special screening of the documentary will be held at the New Strand Theatre, 111 E. 3rd St., West Liberty, Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. West Branch’s Hoover Library is a featured segment in the film. The Rundles and others will take part in Q&A following the film. Tickets are available at the theater.

West Liberty, Davenport, Walcott, Durant, Wilton, Atalissa, Moscow, Iowa City, Coralville and Marengo are among numerous towns along Historic Route 6 that appear in the film.
