Tom Brokaw speaking Nov. 10 at Hoover Foundation dinner

The Hoover Presidential Foundation secured acclaimed author, historian and award-winning journalist Tom Brokaw to speak at its annual Celebration Banquet Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Coralville Marriott.
Brokaw will deliver the keynote address at the event, which runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Held the night before Veterans Day, the banquet will honor veterans. Brokaw authored the best-selling non-fiction book, “The Greatest Generation,” about those who fought in World War II.
In addition to Mr. Brokaw’s keynote address, Iowa State Sen. Tim Kapucian and Iowa House Speaker Linda Upmeyer will be recognized as the 2016 Uncommon Public Service Award recipients.
