Swimmers beat Dub-Hempstead Sports · October 05, 2017
Iowa City High’s girls swimming and diving team traveled to and beat Dubuque-Hempstead 105-80 on Sept. 26.
West Branch senior Lauren Whaley helped contribute 13 points to the team score.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Whaley finished fourth with 2:15.87, earning two points.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Whaley finished third with 1:02.68, earning three points.
In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the Iowa City squad finished second with 1:57.88, earning four points. Whaley swam her lap in 29.37 seconds.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Iowa City’s squad took second place with 4:06.15, earning four points. Whaley swam her laps in 1:02.58.
