NHS gives $1,771 to St. Jude’s
News · November 16, 2017

West Branch High School’s National Honors Society chapter raised nearly $1,771 through a “trick-or-treating” fundraiser.

The money will benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Among the donations are $85 in personal checks to St. Jude’s.

NHS sponsor Kelsey Strope said the students have raised money this way for many years, and past recipients included UNICEF.

“Service is one of the pillars of the National Honors Society, therefore it is very important as an organization we show our service in many different opportunities,” she said.
