Judith “Judy” Borst, 61, of Colfax, Ill., died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006 at her son’s home in Iowa City after a short illness.
Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. Visitation will be held Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Judith E. Borst Memorial Fund.
Judy was born Jan. 23, 1945 in Wadena, Minn., the daughter of Theodore and Kathleen (Young) Prahl. She was a healthcare provider — working with in-home healthcare patients.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Conley of Iowa City, Guy Franks of West Branch, Dan Franks of Nichols and Bob Conley of Iowa City; a sister, Dorothy Ann Mathias of Wadena, Minn.; and three brothers, Richard Prahl of Waterville, Minn., Paul Prahl of Mankato, Minn. and Marvin Prahl of Longmont, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Jane Schwantz.
