The eight-graders finished the season undefeated with a 12-0 record and conference champion title with wins against Wilton and Durant last week.

Sasha Koenig led a balanced Bear attack with 12 points, while Lexie Peak and Taya Young each scored 10 and Nicki Henson added 9. The Bears held Wilton to 3 points in the second half.

“We really played well in the second half defensively against Wilton,” Coach Rich Stout said. “Offensively we really shared the basketball well and we were very balanced.

In the B game, the Bears beat Durant 26-12.
