And a Hoover 150 glass to drink it?
News · August 07, 2024

To celebrate the 150th birthdays of Herbert and Lou Henry Hoover, the Hoover Presidential Foundation is offering a collectible Hoover 150 Belgian beer glass.
This glass comes etched with the Cheers to the Hoovers logo, an individual number of production, and certificate of authenticity. Only 150 were produced, so quantities are limited to two per household.

As an added bonus, each glass comes with a ticket for a complimentary pour of Thirty-One, a Belgian-style beer specially brewed for Herbert Hoover’s 150th birthday by Big Grove Brewery. Beer will be available Saturday, August 10 at Hoover’s Hometown Days in the Hoover’s Birthday Beer Tent.

During World War I, civilians in Belgium and Northern France were caught in a perilous situation. With German occupation and a British economic blockade on Germany, civilians were in danger of starvation. Herbert Hoover was called to find a way to feed 9.5 million people every day for four years. The Belgian beer glass and special Thirty-One beer have been created to remember the uncommon humanitarian work done by Herbert Hoover for the Belgian people.
