School menus for Sept. 19 through 25 at West Branch Community Schools.
Elementary schools
Thursday, Sept. 19– B: Bacon/egg sandwich, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Taco or popcorn chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, refried beans, fruit.
Friday, Sept. 20– B: Whole grain long john, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Cheese pizza or breaded pork patty on whole grain bun, carrots, cauliflower, fruit.
Monday, Sept. 23– B: Cinnamon cereal bar, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Hamburger or hotdog on a whole grain bun, baked beans, celery, fruit.
Tuesday, Sept. 24 - B: Whole grain blueberry muffin bar, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Mandarin chicken or teriyaki beef dippers, seasoned rice, broccoli, carrots, fruit.
Wednesday, Sept. 25 - B: French toast sticks, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Corndog or chicken strips, peas, cauliflower, fruit.
Middle-high schools
Thursday, Sept. 19– B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Taco or popcorn chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, refried beans, fruit.
Friday, Sept. 20– B: Whole grain long john or yogurt and granola, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Cheese pizza or breaded pork patty on whole grain bun, green beans, cauliflower, fruit.
Monday, Sept. 23– B: Cinnamon cereal bar or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Hamburger or hotdog on a whole grain bun, baked beans, celery, fruit.
Tuesday, Sept. 24 - B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Mandarin chicken or teriyaki beef dippers, rice, broccoli, carrots, fruit.
Wednesday, Sept. 25 - B: French toast sticks or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Corndog or chicken strips, peas, cauliflower, fruit.
Students must take three components, one must be a fruit or vegetable. Students have choice of 1% white, skim white or chocolate skim milk. High school choices include fruit and vegetable bar.
