New I-80 lanes, ramps open

Workers with Iowa Plains Signing Inc. of Slater and Advanced Traffic Control of Cedar Rapids put up temporary concrete walls and traffic control signs Monday evening, a few hours before opening two new eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 and two new eastbound ramps to enter and exit West Branch at milemarker 254.
