School menus for Oct. 31 through Nov. 6 at West Branch Community Schools.
Student breakfast price is $1.75; lunch is $2.85 EK-8, $3.00 9-12.
Elementary schools
Thursday, Oct. 31– B: Ham & cheese on biscuit, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Taco or popcorn chicken, refried beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, fruit.
Friday, Nov. 1– B: Cinnamon bun, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Bosco cheese with sauce or breaded pork patty on whole grain bun, cauliflower, broccoli, fruit.
Monday, Nov. 4– B: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, Nov. 5 - B: Egg and cheese on roll, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Spaghetti or chicken nuggets, breadstick, romaine salad, cucumbers, fruit.
Wednesday, Nov. 6 - B: Whole grain fudge poptarts, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Rib patty or hamburger on whole grain bun, French fries, carrots, fruit.
Middle-high schools
Thursday, Oct. 31– B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Taco or popcorn chicken, refried beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, fruit, sorbet
Friday, Nov. 1– B: Cinnamon Bun, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Stuffed crust pepperoni pizza or chicken patty on whole grain bun, cauliflower, broccoli, fruit.
Monday, Nov. 4– B: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, Nov. 5 - B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Spaghetti with meat sauce or chicken nuggets, garlic breadstick, romaine salad, cucumbers, fruit.
Wednesday, Nov. 6 - B: Blueberry snack bread or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Rib patty or hamburger on whole grain bun, French fries, carrots, fruit.
Students must take three components, one must be a fruit or vegetable. Students have choice of 1% white, skim white or chocolate skim milk. High school choices include fruit and vegetable bar.
