Letter: ‘Compromise’ not a dirty word to Kaufmann

In October 2013, Bobby Kaufmann spent time and his own money to journey to Washington, D.C. to talk directly to federal legislators face-to-face, urging them to put party loyalties aside and work on hammering out solutions rather than close down the federal government.
Bobby showed his deep commitment to putting the public good above political party entrenchment!
We need legislators like Bobby for whom “compromise” is not a dirty word.
