Letter: Trump takes center arena in GOP’s tent
Op-Ed · May 12, 2016

Now that Donald Trump is the nominee apparent of the Republican Party, will establishment Republicans fold their not-so-big tent with big-elephant Trump having taken over the center arena trumpeting to masses of his supporting rubes, EAT CAKE, and they do?
And while this and everything else, all along the way circus-time Donald Trump promotes himself from spotlight center as THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.

Trump now owns the Republican label and the party establishment is only going to be as meaningful as Trump lets them pretend to be. Trump’s political clout comes from his being the star to his audience of people angry as all hell and content to take it out on the target of ease that Trump unleashes them on.

Those having most to lose and fear are those who have been jolly well comfortable since the reign of Reagan putting in place trickledown economics for the hoarding of nation’s and world’s wealth by those disposed to dismissively look down on the hoi polloi in accord with the kind of disregard issued by pre-guillotined Queen Maria Antoinette of French Revolution infamy: “If they have no bread, let them eat cake.”
