Letter: Coverage of Friends Church appreciated

On behalf of West Branch Friends Church, I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Times for your coverage of the recent Centennial Celebration for our fine old building at 116 N. Downey St.
The picture and editorial captured the beauty of the building as well as some of the warmth of the people who are the church. We enjoyed a wonderful day of fellowship, a historical treasure hunt with prizes, an appearance of Margaret Fell (aka Quaker Lady), great food by Possum Holler, uplifting music by many and inspiring worship including a message brought by our beloved former pastor Deborah Suess. God is good, all the time!
We are truly blessed to be here in West Branch. Thanks for doing your part in helping to build up our community.
