Karl Dean Jennings, 82, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Crestview Care Center in West Branch.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Family inurnment will be held in the Honey Grove Cemetery in West Branch at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. Karl was born July 26, 1934, in Redding, Iowa the son of Denzel and Mary (Hillers) Jennings. He was a graduate of West Branch High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958, stationed in Germany and France. Karl was a farmer most of his life.
He is survived by one brother, Keith (Jean) Jennings of West Branch; nephew: Steve (Sandi) Jennings of West Branch and their children, Michael, Mitchell (Jenny) Jennings; nephew Mark (Midge) Jennings of West Branch and their children Holli (Grant) Poock, Ryan (Chantelle) Jennings; niece Julie (John) Miller of Muscatine and their children, Justin and Jack Miller; great-great-nieces Emeri Poock, Addli Poock and Kinsley Jennings; and great-great-nephew Casen Jennings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great nephew, Brad Jennings.
