A Celebration Of Life Party for Lois (Yutzy) Bava, 62, of West Branch, was held 5 to 11 p.m. Dec. 29, 2017, at the North Ridge Pavillion in Coralville.

Lois passed away Oct. 16, 2017, surrounded by her children and sister Dottie at a Hospice facility in Glendale, Ariz., after battling a rare form of Lymphoma.

Lois “LoLo” Elaine (Yutzy) Bava was born April 24, 1955, in rural Kalona, Iowa, the daughter of Roman and Frances (Gerig) Yutzy. “LoLo” was diagnosed February 2015 with a rare form of Large B Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. “LoLo” fought a hard long battle using both holistic and western medicine, never giving up, and never losing faith in Jesus. Her greatest passions in life were knowing Jesus, spending time with her family and friends, traveling with loved ones, and serving others. Her smile, laughter, and love will never be forgotten.

Survivors include her children, Erin McCune of Colorado, Zach McCune of Iowa, Jessica McCune of Iowa, and Elizabeth Fuerschbach of New Mexico; her grandchildren: Isaiah, Leah, Christopher, Jordan, Alexander, Tehyana and Henry; and siblings Mary, Dottie, Charity, Nick and Linda.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Frances (Gerig) Yutzy; sister Bert DeHerrera; and three nieces and one nephew.
